Terms of Service

By using our website, you agree to the following terms:

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Conduit BTC Market, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

We operate an e-commerce platform for coffee bean sales, exclusively conducting transactions through the Bitcoin Lightning Network. Our services are available only to individuals located in the United States of America.

Transaction Process

All transactions are conducted exclusively through the Bitcoin Lightning Network via Strike's payment infrastructure. No traditional payment methods or alternative cryptocurrencies are accepted. All prices are denominated in Bitcoin (BTC). Shipping is handled through ShipStation and USPS. You must provide a valid shipping address within the United States of America that is serviceable by USPS. We only ship to verified physical addresses.

Barter Transaction

You acknowledge and agree that each purchase constitutes a barter transaction where you exchange Bitcoin (recognized as a commodity) for coffee products. The exchange rate is fixed at the moment of purchase, and all sales are final once the Lightning Network transaction is completed. You understand that Bitcoin's value may fluctuate significantly relative to other commodities and currencies. The price in Bitcoin is binding at the moment of transaction, and we are not responsible for any financial loss due to Bitcoin price fluctuations.

User Privacy and Security

You are responsible for maintaining your own Lightning Network wallet and may use any Lightning-compatible wallet of your choice. We do not provide wallet services or store any Bitcoin on your behalf. The Lightning Network provides inherent transaction settlement and privacy features. You are responsible for implementing any additional privacy measures you deem necessary.

Third-Party Services

We partner with select third-party service providers to deliver our services: Strike for Lightning Network payment processing, and ShipStation and USPS for order fulfillment and shipping. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:

Data Handling

To facilitate order processing and delivery, we share necessary information with our service providers: Strike receives payment-related data, while ShipStation and USPS receive shipping details. Each service provider processes this information according to their respective privacy policies and data handling practices. We select providers who maintain appropriate security standards, but we cannot guarantee their practices beyond our direct control.

Returns and Refunds

Returns are processed through issuance of new Lightning Network invoices. Refunds are offered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Refunds are issued only through the Lightning Network. The refund amount will be calculated based on the BTC value at the time of the original purchase. Processing time may vary based on Lightning Network conditions.

Legal Usage

You agree not to use our services for any illegal purposes or activities, money laundering or attempts to obscure the origin of funds, purchase of goods on behalf of third parties without authorization, or any activities that violate applicable state or federal laws. We are not liable for losses resulting from Lightning Network technical issues, incorrect wallet addresses or failed transactions due to user error, delays or losses caused by blockchain congestion, or any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
