By using our website, you agree to the following terms:

1. Privacy and Data Security

   We prioritize your privacy. All sensitive data is securely stored on your device using robust encryption methods. We maintain a strict no-sharing policy to ensure your information remains confidential.

2. Local Storage

   Your data never leaves your device. We do not transfer or store your sensitive information on external servers. We will NEVER use this data to create user profiles or input it into algorithms that might influence user behavior on our platform. In the future, we will provide customized open-source algorithms on-device that will generate page feeds based on locally stored data for utility purposes.

3. Usage Analytics

   We collect anonymized usage data and crash analytics to improve our service. If you prefer not to share any analytics information, please let us know.

4. Barter Transaction

   By using our site, you acknowledge and agree to participate in limited barter transactions. These transactions involve exchanging Bitcoin (considered a commodity) with Conduit BTC Marketplace in return for drop ship services provided through our partner stores. You understand that Bitcoin's value may fluctuate relative to other commodities/currencies/etc. and that drop shipping involves third-party fulfillment. Reversed barter transactions (i.e., returns) are subject to the policies of our partner stores. All returns will be processed in Bitcoin-denominated terms to maintain the nature of the barter transaction. The base Bitcoin amount returned will always be for the original barter transaction value, less any partner store fees/penalties/etc. which will be deducted at the current Bitcoin value.

5. User Responsibility

   Your account is associated with a Nostr npub and a Bitcoin/Lightning/e-cash wallet of your choosing. You may generate a random npub/wallet combination if you desire privacy, or use an existing profile and/or wallet. While our service enables privacy, it is your responsibility to avoid associating barter transactions made using your npub and/or your Bitcoin/Lightning/e-cash wallet with your real identity. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any activities conducted through it.

6. Legal Usage

   You agree not to use our site for any illegal purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, engaging in fraudulent activities, money laundering, or any other activities prohibited by applicable laws and regulations. It is your responsibility to be aware of and comply with all relevant laws and regulations applicable to your use of our services. Any use of our services for illegal purposes will result in immediate termination/blocking of your account and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
